As a Data Engineer (m/f/d), you will make a central contribution to the further development of data platforms, reporting structures, and analyses, actively supporting digital transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Operation, maintenance, and further development of a SQL Server Data Warehouse (on-premises)
  • Setup and optimization of ETL and ELT processes for data integration from ERP, production, and other systems
  • Development and modeling of scalable data models as a basis for Microsoft Power BI
  • Support and further development of Power BI solutions (dashboards, reports, data models)
  • Ensuring data quality, data consistency, and data integrity
  • Close collaboration with ERP, BI, and digitalization teams
  • Participation in the expansion of modern data platforms, especially in the area of Microsoft Fabric / Cloud Data Engineering

Qualifications

  • Completed degree or training in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Engineering, or comparable
  • Several years of experience with SQL, MS SQL Server, and Data Warehouse architectures
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Power BI (data modeling, backend structures)
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Abas ERP) is an advantage
  • Experience in the industrial or production environment (e.g., manufacturing) is desirable
  • Structured, analytical, and independent way of working
  • Very good German and good English language skills
