About the Role:

We’re looking for an Intermediate Data Engineer – Ab Initio to join our growing team. This is a permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys building robust data solutions in a banking environment and wants to make a real impact.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines
• Build and optimise data models, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
• Support business objectives through data analytics and insights
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field – very pref.
• 3–5+ years’ experience in a similar Data Engineering role

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with ETL and Data Warehousing (Ab Initio experience highly advantageous)
• Background in banking or financial services (strongly preferred)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Pay range and compensation package:

R (Neg) - depending on Skills & Experience
