About the Role

Your missions: The Data competence center at Capgemini Pau works on high-impact projects: decision-making dashboards, AI solutions, data ingestion, and governance. Within this team, as a Data Engineer apprentice, you will be involved in various missions such as:

• Data structure modeling according to use cases and business constraints
• Setting up ingestion and transformation flows (batch and/or real-time) in Python/SQL
• Data quality, documentation, and governance (testing, cataloging, lineage)
• Creating reusable data/AI assets to enrich our 2026 offerings
• Exploring AI use cases (ML, Generative AI)

Your Profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in computer science (BAC +5)
• Possess initial experience or an academic project as a Data Engineer with skills in Python, SQL, Git, Snowflake, BigQuery
• Fluent in English (B2 level minimum)
• Notions of DevOps, Machine Learning, Generative AI are a plus

• Preferred apprenticeship rhythm: 4 days/1 day or 3 weeks/1 week
