Do you have the know-how to apply data and business analysis techniques to deliver technology change? Do you want to use both your data engineering skills and business functional expertise to help our product succeed? We’re looking for a Data Engineer / Data Analyst to strengthen our Name and Media Screening engineering team.

Your profile

• professional experience working in a fully Agile environment with a global setup
• business and data requirements gathering, grooming and translating them into suitable, cost-effective technology solutions for implementation
• Very strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure things out)
• Strong technical / data engineering skills to understand application and relational/non-relational database setups
• An ability to write database queries (ideally experience working with Oracle and Mongo DB would be a plus)
• Comfortable in a Linux based server environment incl. bash (shell) scripting and Python scripting would be a plus
• Ability to understand different data models and data relationships and to analyze, spot patterns and remediate data issues
• The ability to explain complex concepts simply and efficiently to non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with MS Azure Cloud platforms and knowledge of Data bricks, Denodo would be beneficial
