About the role
Join InfinityRx and a team of changemakers in this rare ground-floor opportunity to transform the healthcare industry. Our InfinityRx Claims Processor (ICP) is a next-generation, cloud-based pharmaceutical claims technology.
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to take full ownership of our data storytelling. You will be the architect of our reporting ecosystem, responsible for ensuring our pharmaceutical clients receive world-class insights-from mission-critical daily updates to strategic Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Reporting Ownership: Lead the design, delivery, and automation of all customer-facing reports. You will own the full cadence, including daily operational reports, monthly performance deep-dives, and executive-level QBR presentations.
- Power BI Architecture: Serve as the internal expert for Power BI, building scalable DAX models and interactive dashboards that make complex pharmaceutical claims data easy to navigate for stakeholders.
- Healthcare Data Engineering: Design and maintain robust SQL-based pipelines to ensure data flowing into reports is accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant.
- Data Quality & Governance: Implement rigorous validation checks to guarantee 100% accuracy in pharmaceutical and financial records-ensuring "one version of the truth" across all reporting platforms.
- Standards Integration: Manage and transform industry-specific data formats, specifically NCPDP Telecommunication Standards, into structured reporting layers.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner directly with Account Management and Leadership to translate client needs into high-impact visual narratives and data-driven insights.
Required Skill Set
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Data Architecture.
- Domain Expertise: Mandatory experience working with pharmaceutical or medical data (e.g., Pharmacy Claims, PBM, or EMR datasets).
- Power BI Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including advanced DAX, Power Query (M), and experience building professional-grade visualizations for external clients.
- Technical Stack:
- Advanced SQL: Mastery of complex querying, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Python: Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation and ETL automation.
- Operational Excellence: Proven ability to manage high-stakes reporting cadences (Daily, Monthly, Quarterly) with extreme attention to detail.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare data privacy.
Preferred Qualifications
- NCPDP Expertise: Direct experience with NCPDP standards is a BIG PLUS.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks).
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
