About the role

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, Cloud Formation, or similar IaC tools.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and deployments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Implement and maintain containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, or Open Shift.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to streamline build, deployment, and release processes.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Watch, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
  • Implement best practices for infrastructure reliability, cost optimization, and scalability.
  • Ensure security and compliance for cloud workloads, including secrets management and access control.
  • Troubleshoot build, deployment, and infrastructure‑related issues with minimal downtime.
  • Support Agile/Scrum development cycles and participate in sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
  • Maintain documentation for Dev Ops processes, infrastructure, and automation workflows.
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging tools and technologies to improve Dev Ops efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–7+ years of hands‑on experience as a Dev Ops Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
  • Expertise with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops.
  • Hands‑on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, GKE).
  • Strong understanding of IaC tools—Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
  • Good understanding of networking, Linux systems, and security practices.
  • Ability to work in fast‑paced environments and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Certifications like AWS Dev Ops Engineer, Azure Dev Ops Expert, CKA, CKAD are a plus.
