Data Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Engineer to help maintain and optimize a unified data platform supporting finance and operations teams. This role focuses on Snowflake performance, data orchestration, and Python-based data solutions, while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable data systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data orchestrations, variables, notifications, and retries
• Optimize Snowflake performance, including warehouse sizing, clustering, and query profiling
• Implement data quality checks including freshness validation, row counts, reconciliation, and referential integrity
• Monitor and control platform costs using usage dashboards and governance guardrails
• Develop and publish Power BI datasets and reporting models used by Finance and Operations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and deliver data solutions
• Develop and support Python-based data applications and services

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong SQL and relational database expertise
• 2+ years of Snowflake administration and performance tuning
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines and workflows
• Strong Python development experience for data processing and automation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
