Data Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms that support analytics and reporting needs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud-based data platforms, particularly AWS, and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes and data transformation workflows.
• Develop and manage robust data models to support analytics and reporting.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, reliability, and performance across platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analytics, business, and application teams.
• Monitor and improve data pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with AWS-based data platforms.
• Hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, databases, and data modeling.
• Experience with data processing frameworks and analytics tools.
• Solid understanding of data pipeline architecture and optimization.

Certifications (Mandatory)

• AWS Certified Database – Specialty
• PostgreSQL Certification

Experience Requirements

• 5–10+ years in data engineering, data platforms, or analytics solutions.
