Role
As a Data Engineer, you will be attached to an agile Feature Team dedicated to fighting payment fraud.
Responsibilities
- Develop Big Data applications in a team with data scientists, developers, cyber-criminality experts, and architects using innovative Machine Learning and Big Data technologies.
- Work on data processing applications based on Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka) to store and distribute all transactions and indicators related to payment fraud.
- Participate in new developments required for the application (adding new features to existing jobs, implementing new jobs, non-regression tools, data quality, continuous delivery, or conducting performance tests).
- Design solutions to collect, clean, organize, and synthesize very large volumes of data (to feed databases, datalakes, and Big Data projects).
- Work in close collaboration with Data Scientists, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in the analysis of data from different sources.

Qualifications
- Prepare a Bac+3 to Bac+5 degree in an Engineering school or University with a specialization in IT and Data Engineering.
- Passionate about data, enjoy collaborative work, sharing expertise, and proposing improvements that give meaning to the activity.
- Master Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Scala, Spark).
- Possess development skills (Shell Unix, Java, Python, Git, Github).
- Fluent in English. Please accompany your CV and training plan.
