Data Engineer confirmé – Environnement Data Platform

Mission Context

As part of the development of a data platform within a large energy group, you will be part of a cross-functional team dedicated to accelerating Data and AI usage. The team supports various business units in the design, implementation, and industrialization of large-scale data solutions in a modern environment (cloud, big data, data governance).

Missions

• Collect and integrate data from multiple sources (structured and unstructured)
• Design and maintain reliable and performant data pipelines
• Structure and model data (semantic logic, normalization)
• Implement data quality processes (cleaning, deduplication, validation)
• Ensure the quality and consistency of data integrated into the Data Lake
• Participate in the mapping and management of data repositories
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to facilitate data exploitation
• Contribute to data governance and the definition of the data lifecycle
• Participate in the continuous improvement of processing performance and costs

• SQL (advanced level)

Candidate Profile

Profile Sought

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Data Engineering
• Very good command of SQL and Big Data environments
• Experience with Spark is essential
• Good understanding of data quality and governance issues
• Ability to work in complex and multi-source environments
• Good level of English (written and spoken)

Assets

• Experience with Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures
• Knowledge of data catalog / data governance tools
• Experience in a cloud environment (AWS)
