Job Description
The Data & AI expertise hub was created specifically to bring together our best specialists who advise, support, and secure the implementation of modern data architectures and the activation of business uses by leveraging data and new market AI technologies.
Your missions
As an experienced Data Engineer, you will actively contribute to the implementation and industrialization of our clients' Data Platforms and the realization of associated Data Products.
Depending on the projects, you will be led to:
- Design and develop robust and scalable data pipelines (Spark, PySpark, SQL, Airflow, Databricks, Kafka)
- Participate in the definition of target architectures with architects and DataOps teams
- Industrialize processing in the cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) with modern architectures (Delta Lake, Iceberg, Lakehouse)
- Optimize the performance of processing and pipelines (Spark tuning, parallelization, cost management, and cloud monitoring)
- Participate in the production, deployment, and automation of processing (CI/CD, containerization, DevOps environment)
- Collaborate with Data Science and Data Management teams to integrate models and ensure data consistency
- Mentor junior Data Engineers in their skill development.
- Contribute to technological watch and capitalization within the DIXIT Lab (Data & AI)
Your profile
- Graduate of a top engineering school or a specialized university master's degree in Data & AI.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in development in one or more programming languages, in data modeling, setting up data pipelines, and in developing data platforms and data models.
- You master the following technical skills: Python, SQL, and Spark
- The principles of object-oriented programming and good software development practices,
- At least one Modern Data Platform environment (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Fabric, Cloudera, AWS, or GCP)
- Orchestration tools (Airflow, ADF, Prefect…)
- Modern data formats (Parquet, Delta, Iceberg)
- You have already participated in cloud industrialization or migration projects.
- You possess good deployment and automation practices (CI/CD, containerization, environment management).
- You enjoy designing, automating, and making data flows reliable and are sensitive to the use of AI to enhance your capabilities.
- You wish to move towards data architect or technical lead roles in the medium term.
