Data Engineer (Data Migration Project) - 6 Month Contract Assignment

About the Role

The Data Engineer will be responsible for the collection, preparation, cleanup, transformation, and validation of client data sourced from multiple third-party systems.

The primary objective of the project is to prepare clean, accurate, and compliant client data for upload into new system, ensuring that all data is mapped to the approved upload templates and signed off by the relevant business owners prior to ingestion.

This is a hands-on, delivery focused role, not a strategic or managerial data position.

Requirements

• Relevant degree or diploma in: Data Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science
• 8+ years' experience in Data engineering or data migration roles
• Hands-on data preparation and transformation
• Strong experience working with: Excel (advanced), CSV / flat-file data, System-to-system data mappings, SQL (Microsoft Azure environment preferred)
• Prior exposure to CRM migrations or financial services data highly advantageous.
