Our consultants work in our office in Basel or from home.ResponsibilitiesWork through our customer's entire data ecosystem to understand their needs and where to find and collect that informationBuild and program machine learning on Databricks and statistical models based on digital, molecular, biobanking, clinical or Real World Evidence data.Advise on advanced data analytics both in standard statistics and machine learning activitiesSupport the evaluation of the designed models and present results through data visualizationDrive the execution of data science experiments based on business requirements and data and present the results to business stakeholdersAdvise team members on the design and scientific background of statistical modelsOrganize knowledge sharing sessions in order to teach Data Science basic principles to project team membersQualificationsUniversity Degree in Statistics, Biology, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, etc.3-5 years of relevant work experience in Data Engineering within the Life Sciences R&D domainGood understanding and work exposure with AWS DatabricksExperience in data wrangling, modelling, integrating and comparing a wide range of clinical data typesAt least 3 years of experience applying major data science, statistics and machine learning algorithms and methods for exploratory and confirmatory data analysis in mid to large volume data setsExperience in regulated environments (GxP, GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11) and IT projectsSubstantial experience with SAS/R and/or Python, ideally in PharmaWork well within a team and collaborate with individuals with technical and non-technical backgroundsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenWork exposure within an international environment in life sciences fieldFluent in English (in writing and speaking), sound German or French skills (in writing and speaking)Legal & DiversityWe can only accept applications of people with Swiss or EU/EFTA citizenship or with an existing and valid residence and work permit for Switzerland/EU.We are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of origin, race, color, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation or disability.#J-18808-Ljbffr
