Data Engineer

About the role

To support the strategic data projects of one of our end clients, a major player in its sector, we are looking for a Data Engineer to join its teams based in Lyon. You will be involved in the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines in a demanding and high-impact technological environment.

Your Profile

We are primarily looking for solid skills and adaptability. You have at least 4 years of overall experience in tech. Good to know: Your background doesn't need to be 100% Data! If you have, for example, 2 years of experience in classic software development (Software Engineering) and 2 years in Data Engineering, your profile perfectly matches our client's expectations.

Technical Stack & Prerequisites

• The Essentials: You must master Java and Apache Spark. It is not mandatory to have used both at the same time (this can be from different past experiences), but solid Java knowledge is required.
• The "Biig" Plus: Experience on the Databricks platform will clearly make a difference for this position.
• The Bonus: You have already worked on Cloud environments or architectures.

The position is officially based in Lyon. If you are not currently in the region but are ready to relocate quickly, we will carefully consider your application!
