Data Engineer Lead, (Snowflake-Focused)

Position Overview

The Lead Data Engineer designs and delivers robust data pipelines, data models, and platform capabilities that support analytics, reporting, and product features. This role provides technical leadership and ensures best practices across data engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable data pipelines and models using advanced Snowflake engineering techniques.
• Implement ELT/ETL workflows, orchestration, and data quality frameworks aligned with enterprise standards.
• Partner with data architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet performance and governance requirements.
• Optimize Snowflake compute usage, performance, and secure data access models.
• Mentor junior engineers and support code reviews, testing strategy, and operational handoffs.

Qualifications

• Strong background in data engineering, data modeling, SQL optimization, and cloud data platforms.
• Expert Snowflake experience including tuning, workload management, and complex query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Python, ELT orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and data quality tooling.
• Demonstrated leadership in guiding teams toward high-quality, scalable data solutions.
