Data Engineer - Lekki

We are looking for a Data Engineer to build and maintain our data infrastructure. You will be responsible for creating a relational database using AWS services, ensuring data is effectively collected, stored, and prepared for analysis. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of data modelling, ETL pipelines, and AWS cloud services.

Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and implement a scalable relational database using AWS (e.g., Amazon RDS, Redshift). • Build and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest, clean, and transform data from various sources. • Develop data models and optimise database performance. • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define data requirements. • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security. • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for data pipelines. • Troubleshoot data-related issues and conduct root cause analysis. • Document database schemas, ETL processes, and data flows.
