Youll play a key role in designing and building modern data platforms, enabling advanced analytics, and supporting business-critical reporting solutions.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex data problems and working across the full data lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and architecture • Implement and optimise data solutions using Microsoft Fabric • Develop and manage data lakes, lakehouses, and data warehouses • Integrate data from multiple sources (structured and unstructured) • Ensure data quality, performance, and governance best practices • Collaborate with BI developers, analysts, and stakeholders • Support and enhance reporting solutions (e.g., Power BI) • Contribute to data platform strategy and best practices

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Computer Science or Engineering Degree • 5+ years experience in a data engineering role • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric • Solid experience with: • Azure Data Services (ADF, Synapse, Data Lake, etc.) • SQL / T-SQL • Data warehousing and dimensional modelling

• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines • Exposure to Power BI or broader BI environments • Strong understanding of cloud-based data architectures • Ability to work in a consulting or client-facing environment (advantageous)
