Job Details

Responsibilities

• Development, operation, and optimization of scalable data pipelines from on-premises systems to modern cloud architectures
• Implementation of data solutions based on Microsoft Azure, Databricks, and dbt
• Conception and implementation of Infrastructure-as-Code solutions (e.g., Terraform)
• Ensuring security, compliance, and governance requirements
• Analysis and optimization of existing data pipelines regarding performance, resource utilization, and costs
• Close collaboration with business units, IT, and production for the further development of the data platform
• Support in the implementation of analytics, automation, and AI use cases

Requirements

• Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Engineering, Data Science, or a comparable field
• Several years of professional experience in Data Engineering
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Databricks
• Experience in the development and operation of data pipelines
• Knowledge of dbt and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) is an advantage
• Ideally, relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Databricks Certified)
• Structured and independent working style
