Your Tasks

• Further development and operation of our Databricks Analytics Platform in the Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Conception, implementation, and optimization of scalable data pipelines with Databricks & PySpark
• Ensuring performance, scalability, and data quality through best practices, refactoring, and monitoring
• Definition and automation of cloud and data platform infrastructure (Azure & Databricks) with Terraform
• Technical implementation of data use cases in close cooperation with data analysts and departments
• Integration of new AI and GenAI use cases (e.g., LLMs, RAG, Vector Search, Embeddings, Delta Lake) based on the existing data platform

Your Profile

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, data science, or a comparable qualification
• Sound knowledge in the development of ETL pipelines, ideally with SQL and Python
• Experience in Terraform, Git, and CI/CD is desirable
• Good knowledge of databases and data modeling (3. NF, Star Schema, Kimball)
• Good knowledge of Databricks and general experience with Azure Cloud Services
• Interest and enthusiasm for new technologies and AI
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Enjoyment of independent and self-reliant work, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
