Requirements

• You enjoy working interdisciplinarily in business and IT areas.
• You love challenges and develop intelligent solutions from them.
• You have a hands-on mentality, are a team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and continuously acquiring new knowledge.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering using SQL, Spark, Data Lakes, etc.
• You have sound knowledge in Cloud Platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure).
• Experience in one of the following programming languages is an advantage: Python, Scala, Java.
• Experience with agile project management methods like SCRUM is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and execution of consulting discussions, workshops, proof of concepts, and training in the area of Microsoft Data, BI & Analytics Services.
• Integration of data from various sources (streaming, APIs, sensor data, SQL databases, etc.).
• Conception and implementation of Data Lake architectures for storing and analyzing data using SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop/Spark.
• Conception and implementation of ETL/ELT processes for data processing and refinement.
• Conception and implementation of logging and monitoring mechanisms.
• Project Manager activities - creating effort estimations, project and resource planning, project leadership & communication.
