Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Python
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes for financial data
• Work with datasets such as:
  • Transactions
  • Payments
  • Accounts / ledgers
  • Risk & compliance data
• Develop and optimize data warehouses / data lakes
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security (critical for financial systems)
• Implement data validation and reconciliation processes
• Collaborate with:
  • Finance teams
  • Risk & compliance teams
  • Data analysts & business stakeholders
• Support regulatory reporting and audit requirements
• Optimize performance for large-scale financial data processing

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Python
• Advanced SQL skills (joins, optimization, performance tuning)
• Experience with ETL tools / frameworks
• Hands-on with:
  • Pandas, NumPy
  • PySpark / Spark
• Solid understanding of:
  • Data modeling
  • Data warehousing concepts
