Position Overview
Eli Lilly and Company seeks a Data Engineer (P3‑P5) to accelerate the delivery of data solutions for analytics projects and business operations. #LI-DNI
Design, develop, and maintain data solutions to ensure availability and quality of data for business transactions. Design and implement efficient data storage, processing, and retrieval solutions. Build data pipelines and optimize database designs. Perform data integration, acquisition, cleansing, harmonization, and transformation. #LI-DNI
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field and 5 years of progressively responsible experience with designing large‑scale data models for functional, operational, and analytical environments.
- Or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field and 3 years of experience with designing large‑scale data models for functional, operational, and analytical environments.
- Minimum of:
- 3 years of experience with SQL, data visualization tools, and AWS technologies.
- 3 years of experience with security models and development on large data sets.
- 3 years of experience with developing database solutions and formal database designs.
- 3 years of experience with Agile development, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub, and automation platforms.
- 3 years of experience with reviewing database design patterns and deployment strategies.
- Up to 10 % domestic travel required. #LI-DNI

Compensation
Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $112,091.00 per year.
Full‑time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
