The Role

Reporting directly to the Data Manager, the Data Engineer BI supports business departments and various services by providing reliable and usable data, thanks to a transverse and global vision of the company's data. The Data Engineer BI is responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of data provision solutions for Opteven's clients and business teams. They guarantee the availability, quality, and coherent evolution of the company's data in line with strategic objectives.

Thus, you will:

• Design and implement the Data architecture
• Maintain the existing systems in operational condition
• Ensure the quality, reliability, and mapping of the data provided
• Collaborate with and support business units by analyzing and formalizing the needs of business users
• Define and implement data flows for feeding systems (ODS, DWH, Datamart) using the middleware solutions used by OPTEVEN
• Automate ETL/ELT processes to ensure the reliability, scalability, and traceability of flows and treatments

About the position

• Position status: Executive, permanent contract (CDI)
• Recruitment process: A phone call with the recruitment manager followed by two interviews with the Data teams

About You

Graduated with a Master's degree (Bac +5) in Business Intelligence, you have at least 8 years of experience in a similar role.

Skills sought:

• Proficiency in ETL/ELT tools (Pentaho and/or others), databases (postgres), data warehouses (on premise or cloud), and DataViz solutions (Tableau).
• Knowledge of best practices in data modeling, query optimization, and performance management.
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure) and modern architectures (data lake, data mesh, etc.).
• Knowledge of Git, Docker
