Data Engineer (R&D)

Must‑Have Skills

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure (ADF, Databricks, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, Data Lake)
• Expertise in Python, SQL, and Excel
• Experience working with R&D / Laboratory data or LIMS systems
• Experience handling unstructured data from multiple sources
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Transform unstructured R&D and laboratory data into standardized, approved structured platforms
• Design & maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines (batch & real‑time)
• Build and optimize Azure data lakes, warehouses, and infrastructure
• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, vendors, and R&D scientists
• Enable smart laboratory operations by connecting siloed data sources
• Support data governance, security, and compliance across global R&D labs

Nice‑to‑Have

• Background in Manufacturing, Chemical, Energy, or Industrial R&D
• Power BI / Power Apps or Web UI experience
