Data Engineer/Developer (SQL, Python, Postgres, Snowflake)

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Strong Developer Experience with ANSI complaint databases such as PostgreSQL and Snowflake using Python and/or Perl.
• Thorough Knowledge of SQL.
• Strong development skills in Python using database interfaces such as SQLAlchemy/ODBC.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps.
• Experience with Linux and Windows, Scripting.
• Good understanding of Azure and/or AWS CSP (CLI based application design and implementation).
• Strong communication and written skills.

Desired Skills

• Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS CLI based application design and implementation.
• Knowledge of security controls for the Public cloud ( encryption of data in motion/rest and key management ).
• Developing monitoring architecture and implementing monitoring agents, dashboards, escalations and alerts.
• Experience with architecting and maintaining high availability production systems.
• Snowflake certification a plus.
