Data Engineer

Our recruitment firm supports companies based in Alsace in their recruitment of IT, data, and digital profiles. As part of our development and to meet the needs of our partners, we are looking for several Data Engineers (M/F). We are building a pool of qualified candidates to offer opportunities adapted to the challenges of data valorization, data architecture construction, and analytical performance for companies in the region.

Role

Reporting to the IT, Data, or Analytics teams, you will be involved in the design, development, and maintenance of data infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
• Structure and optimize databases (relational and/or NoSQL)
• Ensure data integration, transformation, and quality
• Implement robust and scalable data architectures (Data Lake, Data Warehouse)
• Collaborate with Data Analyst, Data Scientist, and business teams
• Optimize data processing and query performance
• Automate data flows and processing processes
• Participate in the implementation of cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP depending on the environment)
• Guarantee data reliability, security, and governance

Profile

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in computer science, data engineering, applied mathematics, or equivalent
• Significant experience in data engineering or data pipeline development
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, SQL, Java, Scala...)
• Good knowledge of databases (SQL / NoSQL)
• Experience with ETL and/or data orchestration tools (Airflow, Talend, dbt...)
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Rigor, analytical mindset, and ability to solve complex problems
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Technical curiosity and awareness of data technologies

Employment Details

• Permanent contract (CDI) - full-time
• Based in Alsace, with the possibility of partial remote work depending on the company.
