As a Data Integration & Automation Analyst, you will be responsible for the end-to-end automation and integration of data solutions. Your work will range from architecting automated data feeds from external suppliers to developing sophisticated data wrangling scripts that empower our delivery teams. Key Responsibilities • Integration & Architecture: Engage with external data sources to secure automated feeds and design technical solutions for data receipt in required formats. • Technical Setup: Lead the configuration of onsite hardware and network infrastructure, including port forwarding and static IP setups. • Automation & Scripting: Use R or Python to create automation scripts, utilizing existing libraries to drive efficiency and reusability. • Systems Integration: Configure and troubleshoot connectors for various ERP/Accounting systems and write custom SQL extraction queries. • Data Science Support: Assist with research and projects involving statistical theory, machine learning concepts, and time series analysis. • Monitoring & Maintenance: Proactively monitor the health of automated feeds ("satellites") and resolve connectivity or data integrity issues promptly. What We’re Looking For • Education: A Tertiary Degree or Diploma in IT, Mathematics, Statistics, or a relevant technical certification. • Experience: 2–4 years in a technical role within a data-centric environment. • Programming Skills: Proficiency in R or Python with a solid grasp of core programming concepts (functions, loops, and variables). • Database Expertise: Advanced MS SQL Server skills, including joins, stored procedures, and relational warehousing knowledge. • Network Knowledge: A confident understanding of Windows file systems and network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DHCP). • Mathematical Foundation: University-level knowledge of probability, distributions, and linear algebra. • Tools: High proficiency in Excel and experience with JIRA, SharePoint, and Azure Cloud services.
