Data Platform & Database Engineer – Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure (m/w/d)

Responsibility

In this role, you are responsible for the stable and future-oriented operation of modern database and data platforms. You work between classic on-prem environments and cloud architectures, ensuring that data is processed reliably, performantly, and securely. You will work closely with development teams and business units to provide optimal technical support for data-driven applications.

Qualifications

• Support and further development of relational database systems in hybrid environments
• Setup and optimization of cloud-based data platforms with a focus on scalability
• Analysis of system behavior and performance optimization
• Implementation of backup, recovery, and availability concepts
• Support for modernization and migration projects towards the cloud
• Technical consulting on data architectures and infrastructure decisions
• Ensuring stable operation, including incident and problem handling
