Your role in the team

• Development and operation of modern data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes

• Optimization of data models, data flows, and platform performance

• Development and further enhancement of transformation and workflow processes

• Development of data integrations and stored procedures

• Monitoring, error analysis, and ensuring data quality

• Participation in the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud environments

• Implementation of security, governance, and reliability requirements

• Collaboration with specialist departments and engineering teams

• Support in the further development of the data platform

Our expectations:

Qualifications

• Excellent SQL and Python skills in building modern data pipelines.

• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and workflow orchestration

• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git-based development processes, and monitoring

• High quality awareness in the areas of Security, Governance, and Reliability

• German and English language skills at C1 level

Experience

• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and dbt

• Experience with AWS and/or Azure as well as cloud-based data platforms

• Experience in the migration and modernization of legacy systems

Education

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a comparable qualification
