Your Biggest Challenge Awaits You
Within the Distribution & Hotel Services Tribe of the Data domain, we are looking for our Data Product Director to define the vision and roadmap for our data products, including a key component on the integration of Artificial Intelligence functionalities. You will build a lasting working relationship with your business stakeholders and all key stakeholders in the data ecosystem to ensure the roadmap aligns with business ambitions and creates value for the Accor group. You will work in tandem with the technical lead for your scope (Data Engineering Director) to frame the roadmap, in alignment with strategic business and data ambitions.
Your Mission
- As Data Product Director, you define, manage, and develop the product strategy and data usage, in collaboration with the Data Engineering Director for the functional area.
- In particular, you work to identify with your Business stakeholders opportunities for data valorization in service of strategic and operational objectives.
- You collaborate closely with Data Science & AI teams to design, develop, and deploy intelligent models and algorithms within our products.
- You develop the roadmap for the continuous development and improvement of products & services and are its functional guarantor.
- In partnership with the Data Engineering Director, you work to package and market the Product offering to your clients.
- You work in partnership with other Data Product Directors, Data Product Managers, and Product Owners, as well as the Data Engineering and Data Management teams, to ensure the delivery of products within the allocated time and budget, and ensure monitoring of the quality of products delivered to users.
- In this context, you will lead steering committees and communicate on the strategy, adoption plans, and improvement of the products for which you are responsible.
- You define product value monitoring indicators and report on the achievement of your functional area's ambitions.
- You manage the team of Product Owners for whom you have managerial responsibility.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a top general engineering or computer science school, or a specialized Master's degree in Big Data.
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a Data or BI Product Manager in the development of data platforms and associated products and/or data applications.
- Proven prior experience in team management.
- Strong understanding of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and statistics principles, and their application in concrete products.
- Knowledge of database structures and data ingestion/integration/modeling processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong ability to formalize, customer-oriented mindset, synthesis skills, and "pedagogical" communication skills.
- Analytical skills, ability to propose solutions to solve problems or optimize the product.
- Good experience in hotel distribution is desirable.
- Fluent in French and English.
