Your mission
- Define, steer and develop the product strategy and data usage in collaboration with the Data Engineering Director.
- Work with business contacts to identify opportunities to leverage data for strategic and operational objectives.
- Draw up the roadmap for development and continuous improvement of products and services and act as functional lead.
- Package and market the product offering to clients in partnership with the Data Engineering Director.
- Collaborate with Data Product Directors, Product Managers, Product Owners, Data Engineering and Data Management teams to ensure timely delivery and quality.
- Lead steering committees and communicate on strategy, adoption plans, and product improvements.
- Define metrics for tracking product value and report on achievement of objectives.
- Manage the team of Product Owners with managerial responsibility.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a top engineering school (general engineering or IT) or holder of a Master’s degree specialising in Big Data.
- 5 to 10 years’ experience as a Data or BI Product Manager in data platforms and associated products or data applications.
- Proven experience in people management.
- Knowledge of database structures and data ingestion, integration and modelling processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to articulate ideas clearly.
- Customer-focused mindset and ability to synthesise information and communicate accessibly.
- Analytical skills and proactive in proposing solutions to resolve problems or optimise the product.
- Fluent in French and English.
