We are looking for a talented Data Scientist / Full Stack Application Developer eager to design and implement cutting-edge AI-enabled applications and perform in-depth data analysis in Palantir Foundry. This role focuses on data science, advanced analytics, visualization, and user-friendly application development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in a fast-paced Agile environment with engineers and domain experts to transform ambiguous requirements into scalable, intuitive products.
  • Conduct data discovery and exploratory analysis (EDA) on structured and unstructured data.
  • Execute data cleansing, normalization, aggregation, and modeling.
  • Design and build analytic applications in Palantir Foundry, including dashboards and interactive workflows.
  • Integrate AI/ML capabilities (e.g., LLMs, NLP, RAG/GraphRAG) into the analytic workflows.
  • Create visually compelling metrics to assist in executive and operational decision-making.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum collaborations to rapidly iterate on innovative solutions.
  • Effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

What You Need

  • Interim Secret Security clearance is required.
  • Ability to transition from exploratory analysis to production-ready applications with measurable impacts.
  • Strong expertise in data science and analytics, including EDA, data wrangling, and modeling.
  • Proficiency in Python for analytics and data pipeline development (e.g., pandas, polars, PySpark).
  • Hands-on experience in Palantir Foundry (pipelines, transforms, Workshop, Quiver, Ontologies, AIP).
  • Proficiency in TypeScript for backend complex ontology functionalities and frontend Workshop application customizations.
  • Experience in constructing production-grade analytics (applications, dashboards, notebooks).
  • Expertise in data visualization using Python libraries (matplotlib, seaborn, plotly) and/or BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik).
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic Agile/Scrum setup with shifting requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with a talent for conveying insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Background in statistics, mathematics, operations research, or applied sciences.
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry, Databricks, or similar data platforms.
  • Knowledge in data connection and integration within Foundry.
  • Familiarity with architecture and capabilities of Data Connection.
  • Ability to set up sources and synchronize ingesting tabular data from external systems into Foundry.
  • Ontology design and development experience in Foundry.
  • Deliver data engineering context during ontology design and implement pipelines based on application requirements.

Preferred Experience

  • Active Secret clearance is highly desired.
  • Application of advanced analytics and statistical methods (e.g., regression, clustering, hypothesis testing, A/B testing).
  • Experience with AI/ML and statistical modeling using Python libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, statsmodels, Prophet; NLP tools like spaCy or NLTK).
  • Experience in building AI-enabled applications using LLMs, NLP, RAG, or GraphRAG and developing rapid analytic demos with Streamlit.
  • Familiarity with model deployment and ML/AI serving architectures.
  • Knowledge of data platform operations, monitoring, or optimization.
  • Experience constructing and maintaining ETL pipelines supporting analytical applications.

Compensation

The pay range for this role in the following locations is: $100,200-$203,400 USD.
