Responsibilities

• In this role, you will work at our Unterschleißheim or Kempten locations in the Business Intelligence department within the BI Data Warehouse Development team.
• You will define, create, and model logical and physical data models (e.g., 3NF, Star Schema) within consistent data structures.
• You will develop, extend, and maintain ETL/ELT processes according to Dachser standards.
• You will model and extend objects (tables, views, stored procedures) in a central Data Warehouse.
• You will support analysts from specialist departments and various BI frontends by providing datamarts or data products.
• During ongoing operations, you will ensure data quality, performance, and data consistency.
• Within the scope of requirements engineering and development, you will work interdisciplinarily and in agile structures.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science (business or technical) or a comparable qualification.
• Sound experience in Business Intelligence and/or classic Data Warehousing, as well as very good SQL skills with (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL, Snowflake, or comparable systems).
• Several years of practical experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Talend, NiFi, SSIS, or Azure Data Factory.
• Basic knowledge of working with BI frontend tools (relational, multidimensional, semantic layers).
• You work independently, collaboratively, and with a sense of responsibility and quality.
• You communicate confidently in German and English - both orally and in writing.
