As a Database Migration Engineer, you will be instrumental in transforming a complex database environment while ensuring data integrity and performance parity. This position is crucial for transitioning OLTP and OLAP components, involving manual and programmatic refactoring. Working closely with a talented development team, you will tackle database dialect conversions and enhance ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate Oracle PL/SQL code into PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL
• Re-engineer complex ETL logic for performance
• Migrate schema with optimized data types and constraints
• Tune performance and resolve query bottlenecks
• Validate data consistency between source and target systems

Requirements

• 5+ years in Oracle (12c/19c) with PL/SQL expertise
• 3+ years in PostgreSQL development
• Proven Oracle to PostgreSQL migration experience
• Mastery of ANSI SQL
• Proficient in Shell or Python scripting
