Qualifications

• Completed IT training or equivalent professional experience in the database environment with a focus on Oracle
• In-depth expertise in Oracle technologies as well as sound knowledge of common operating systems
• Experience with relational database systems and interest in automation and scripting languages
• Structured, analytical approach combined with experience in iterative working methods and very good language skills in German and English

Responsibilities

• Operation, stabilization, and expansion of complex Oracle database environments, including cluster and replication solutions
• Monitoring of the system landscape through analysis tools, event control, and resource planning
• Diagnosis of faults as well as performance analysis and optimization measures
• Support in the operation of additional database technologies within the system landscape
• Further development and automation of operational processes as well as participation in technological innovations
