For an established company in the retail sector, we are looking for support in the Hamburg area as soon as possible in the areas of data analysis, data preparation, and process automation.

In this role, you work at the interface between business departments and IT. You prepare data so that it can be reliably used for analyses, reports, and operational decisions. This involves not only evaluations but also stable data processes, automation, and clean data quality.

Your Tasks:

You develop and maintain data solutions for internal business departments and support the further development of existing processes related to data acquisition, data preparation, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis, structuring, and preparation of data for reports, evaluations, and data-based decisions
• Development and maintenance of data products using SQL, Excel, Power Query, and Databricks
• Collaboration with process owners, database developers, and business users to improve existing data processes
• Automation of recurring workflows in data acquisition and data processing
• Ensuring data quality as well as checking and further developing existing data models and reports
• Development, support, and optimization of RPA processes with UiPath
• Evaluation of new tools and technologies in the areas of data analysis, reporting, and automation
• Support in the further development of the existing analysis and system landscape

Your Profile:

You enjoy working with data, processes, and technical solutions. You work in a structured manner, think analytically, and can translate requirements from the business department into suitable data solutions.

Qualifications:

• Completed studies, for example in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration with an IT focus, or a comparable qualification
• Initial professional experience in a similar role or a clear professional background in data analysis, reporting, or data processes
• Sound knowledge of Excel, Power Query, and SQL
• Experience or interest in modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, or comparable solutions
• Interest in automation, ideally initial exposure to UiPath or other RPA tools
• Understanding of data quality, process logic, and clean data structures
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with IT-savvy and business stakeholders
• Independent, solution-oriented way of working
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage, but not a requirement
