Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and implement database automation solutions using Terraform and Liquibase.
• Manage and optimize databases on Microsoft Azure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Oversee database deployments, schema migrations, and backup and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines for database changes.
• Utilize Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration and management.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database-related issues.
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices in database management.
• Maintain documentation and standards for database platforms and processes.
• Stay updated with the latest cloud database technologies and trends.

Experience Required

• 5 - 7 years of experience in database engineering or platform engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and Liquibase.
• Experience managing databases in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
• Experience in database performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization.
• Familiarity with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
