Position Overview
We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented and strategic Decision Model Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be essential in aligning business needs with technology solutions, advancing data-driven decision-making, and ensuring the seamless delivery of projects across the organization. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our external portal to ensure it is user-friendly, scalable, reliable, and performs at its best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, and workflows.
- Design and validate decision model solutions that align with business needs, translating these into functional specifications and user stories.
- Conduct gap analyses to pinpoint areas for process improvement and optimization.
- Take ownership of the Sapiens solution from both functional and technical perspectives.
- Assist in project planning, execution, and delivery by closely collaborating with cross-functional teams including IT, product, operations, and finance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs for monitoring business performance.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the delivered solutions align with business expectations.
Qualifications:
- Outstanding communication skills (oral, written, and presentation) with a proactive attitude and the ability to motivate and engage stakeholders.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proactive problem-solver with a mix of technical skills and insurance industry knowledge.
- Experience launching software or services alongside development teams; familiarity with Agile methodology is a plus.
- Strong knowledge in business process modeling, data analysis, and requirements gathering.
- 4+ years of experience in a business analyst role or similar position.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and business intelligence platforms (e.g. Power BI, Azure DevOp) is beneficial.
- Experience with Sapiens Decisioning tools is preferred.
Salary Range:
$57,304.80-$132,706.20
This salary range is a good-faith estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, credentials, geographic location, and other permissible considerations.
Office Locations:
This role may be based out of any of our office locations, including Parsippany, NJ; Conshohocken, PA; Wilkes-Barre, PA; and Alpharetta, GA.
