Delegated Authority (DA) Onboarding Senior Analyst

Sompo has a unique opportunity for a Delegated Authority (DA) Onboarding Senior Analyst to strengthen our DA Operations area. Through our operating subsidiaries, Sompo International underwrites agriculture, professional lines, property, aviation, marine and energy, financial and political risks and casualty and other specialty and catastrophe lines of insurance and reinsurance.

Our Continental Europe DA Operations team covers most lines of business, for both onboarding, processing and ongoing management. We are looking for someone to be knowledgeable in the data and operations of our MGA/TPA´s partners, to support the data mapping it into our standard models, processing bordereaux and support the business in the ongoing management of the DA operational activities.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Execute the Sompo DA Processes & Procedures focusing on MGA & TPA Onboarding, coordinating and engaging with other stakeholders across the business and delivering end-to-end reviews of new and renewing agreements.
• Trusted point of contact for all Onboarding Delegated related queries from both within the team and between stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of the broader DA framework for Sompo International
• Work with the Sompo Compliance, Legal and Product teams to ensure adherence to the regulatory and compliance processes.
• Ad hoc tasks as directed by Line manager.

What You’ll Bring

• Solid technical experience (at least 2 years) in delegated authority and/or insurance processes, preferably working in an Insurance, Broker or Cover Holder Company in a role with responsibility for Delegated Authority Management, Risk or Internal Audit.
• Knowledgeable of MGA’s or TPA’s processes in a Risk, Internal Audit or Delegated Authority perspective.
• English is a must plus at least an additional CE language (French, German, Italian or Spanish)
• Demonstrate the ability to execute while building rapport and trust with immediate team members and members of the wider organisation as well as all existing and potential MGA’s and TPA’s.
• Strong organisational skills & prioritisation – ability to deliver on tasks and meet deadlines.
• College Graduated qualification, or at least at the last 2 year from graduation.
• Competent in use of all MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint to a moderate extent)
• Good oral and written communication skill
• Attention to detail, excellent due diligence and investigative skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, respecting clear processing guidelines and able to deliver outputs based on given priorities, achieving tasks within tight deadlines
• Customer focused aiming to drive best-in-class performance by all measures.
