Technology Project Manager / Delivery Consultant (Payments)

Insight Global is seeking a Technology Project Manager / Delivery Consultant (Payments) to lead end-to-end delivery of application development initiatives within the outbound payments portfolio for a major banking client.

This role is focused on core payment systems and payment flows, requiring a strong understanding of how payments work across P2P and B2B channels. The ideal candidate will be comfortable driving delivery while translating complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly communication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead end-to-end delivery of payments-related technology projects
• Manage multiple workstreams across application development (SDLC)
• Support initiatives involving: Payment processing and transaction flows
• Wire transfers and money movement platforms
• Payment ecosystem integrations
• Apply and ensure alignment to payment standards (ISO 8583 / ISO 20022)
• Partner closely with business stakeholders and technology teams
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business language
• Manage project financials, timelines, risks, and reporting
• Create executive updates, decks, and governance materials

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of IT Project Management / Delivery experience
• Strong understanding of payments and how payment systems operate
• Professional level Spanish speaking, writing, reading
• Experience with payment standards (ISO 8583 / ISO 20022)
• Exposure to Transaction processing
• Strong understanding of SDLC and application delivery
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives
• Strong communication skills — ability to simplify complex technology topics
• Experience in banking, fintech, or consulting environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Exposure to card networks (Visa / Mastercard)
• Basic understanding of FX or cross-border payments
• Client-facing consulting experience
