Delivery Program Manager (m/w/d) DevOps & Cloud Platform

Project Description

The team is building an internal platform for software product developers to accelerate the development and delivery of software products to tackle the massive challenges facing the energy sector. The Platform is a service oriented, cloud-native platform that is being built to provide application teams with self-service capabilities to develop, run and operate their software products. The Platform provides services for application infrastructure, data, service lifecycle management, application build and delivery as well as services to operate their software products. The platform is deployed as a hybrid cloud, encompassing both private cloud and selected public clouds.

Targets in that Position

• Define the stages and gates of our development process
• Ensure the successful design, rollout, and continuous improvement of a centralized development platform that supports scalable and efficient engineering across the program
• Improve overall delivery speed by optimizing engineering workflows, increasing automation, and leveraging modern technologies.

Must have

• At senior level as a delivery manager with experience in platform development
• Experience in the management of the organizations of complex development projects
• Experience with tests automation and frameworks/tools in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation
• Experience in large scale cloud platforms, their environments and the operations of infrastructure
• Experience in observability, performance monitoring, and improving customer experience
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, DevOps practices, and IAM/RBAC principles and the associated observability solutions
• Competence in using project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with the essentials of CI/CD pipeline management, including build, image registry, vulnerability scanning, and deployment processes
• Experience with test automation and frameworks/tools in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation
• Experience in large cloud environments, their building blocks and the operation of infrastructures

Nice to have

• Experience with building infra using open source tech and associated tools like terraform, helm, etc.
• Familiarity in the application of analysis and problem-solving methods
