The City of Manhattan, Kansas, is seeking an experienced engineering leader to serve as its next Deputy Director of Public Works / City Engineer. This is a rare opportunity to shape a growing, vibrant community while leading critical infrastructure systems that impact residents every day.
In this highly visible role, you will oversee Engineering, Traffic, Stormwater, and Project Delivery operations and help deliver a $40–50 million annual Capital Improvement Program. You'll lead complex projects from concept through construction, mentor a talented team, and collaborate with stakeholders to advance sustainable growth, mobility, and quality of life.
