Ensure production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a cost-effective, safe and reliable manner, while maintaining factory assets in a cost-effective way & ensure safe and reliable production. Also responsible to lead and manage process and maintenance function for factory in terms of execution of strategic direction, resources, and process excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Development of asset preservation strategy

• Implementation of asset preservation strategy

• Management of Maintenance effectiveness

• Drive quality and eliminate defects through continuous improvement.

• Recruit, Train & Develop, Lead, Manage and direct People.

• Safety, Health and Environment

• Management of process

• Stakeholder Management – internal and external

• Technical Competencies

• SHE Risk Management

Desired Experience & Qualification

• NQF Level 6/7 Degree in an Engineering discipline - Mechanical, Electrical or a Millwright / Equivalent Qualification.

• A Qualification in financial management is advantageous.

• Minimum Experience required: 5 years post qualification engineering or process experience in FMCG or Processing industry.

• A very strong maintenance background in FMCG type manufacturing with hands on approach required.

• Artisan / Technician background huge advantage

Package & Remuneration

Salary negotiable depending on experience, 50% Medical Discovery, Pension / Provident / Disability, Company cell phone.
