Deputy Project Manager

Overview

Inuka is working with a renewable energy platform to recruit a Deputy Project Manager based in Berlin. This role will support the development and construction of large-scale BESS projects, before transitioning into a business development capacity to help grow a storage platform in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of BESS projects across development and construction phases.
• Assist with permitting, grid connection, land agreements, and project readiness.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking processes.
• Support contract administration and ensure compliance with key obligations.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting, including dashboards and updates.
• Coordinate with internal teams and contractors to ensure smooth execution.
• Contribute to construction oversight and commissioning activities.
• Identify and evaluate new BESS opportunities, including greenfield and partnership-led projects.
• Support market entry and partnership development in Germany.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in project management within renewable energy or infrastructure.
• Exposure to energy storage or power projects is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience supporting project delivery, cost tracking, and reporting.
• Ability to work across technical and commercial functions.
• Fluent in German and English.
