Detailed Architecture Consultant (CAD)

Responsibilities

• Design office technology solutions aligned with architecture, security, and user experience principles
• Act as a content expert and resource person for clients and internal teams
• Advise and support stakeholders in the design, implementation and monitoring of solutions
• Functionally supervise professionals in the context of projects or operational mandates
• Define and enforce the practices, methods and tools necessary to achieve the unit's objectives
• Contribute to the development of information technology policies, standards, models and programs
• Ensure continuous technology monitoring and make strategic recommendations
• Actively participate in architectural initiatives in information technology projects

Qualifications

• Have ten (10) or more years of experience in information technology, including a minimum of five (5) years in a similar role in office automation or architecture
• Demonstrated experience in solution architecture in information technology projects
• Have in-depth expertise in office environments and user workstations
• Be proficient in environments and technologies such as Citrix, Windows, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, macOS, and iOS
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of security and telecommunications concepts
• Intermediate knowledge of scripting languages and databases, including VBScript, PowerShell and SQL
• Familiarity with desktop management and application deployment tools, including packaging and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
• Acquire and apply sound knowledge of project management as well as effort and cost estimation
• Communicate with ease and present content suitable for technical and executive audiences
• Demonstrate good political sense, strong customer focus and high attention to quality
