Our Mission & Vision

At Neuraville, our ultimate mission is to develop machine intelligence that we can trust with our loved ones. To achieve this, we are building the foundational intelligence layer for physical systems. Our goal is to make Neuraville's technology the default operating ecosystem for embodied AI, shaping the future of robotics in the exact way Linux became the default operating system for servers and Android for mobile computing.

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic, highly technical Developer Relations Engineer to join our team on-site in Pittsburgh. This is a part-time contract role structured as an initial performance trial, with the explicit intent to convert into a permanent part-time or full-time employee position based on successful traction and milestones. This role is primarily on-site because building a local team matters to us. The person in this role will work closely with the founding/product team, robotics demos, developer workshops, customer visits, and in-person community-building activities.

The Ecosystem & Flywheel Mandate

Your core objective is to translate our technology into commercial growth by expanding the base of premium paying customers on Neurorobotics Studio, while naturally accelerating organic adoption for the open-source FEAGI framework. You will act as the core technical bridge between our code and the global developer community across our three pillars: FEAGI, Neurorobotics Studio (NRS), and BrainsForRobots.com.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables • Technical Content Creation: Develop and publish technical blogs, architectural walkthroughs, and code guides breaking down robotic brains and AI control systems. • Video Production: Script, record, and publish high-quality technical videos and conceptual tutorials for YouTube. • Advertising Clips: Extract and develop short-form, high-impact mini technical clips, 15-60 seconds, to be utilized directly in paid advertisements and social growth campaigns. • White Papers: Research, architect, and author comprehensive technical white papers detailing Neuraville's software control frameworks and advantages. • Webinars & Technical Chats: Own and host interactive webinars, live streams, and regular technical conversations with the developer community to drive platform engagement. • Workshops & Hackathons: Plan, build out, and host technical workshops and developer hackathons to scale platform adoption. • Conference Speaking: Participate in industry conferences, secure speaking opportunities, and talk passionately about Neuraville's technology to build ecosystem equity. • Customer Consultation: Participate in technical discovery conversations with potential customers, answer detailed architecture questions, unblock trial users, and systematically convey user needs back to our core development team.

Required Skills & ExperienceCore Technical Foundations • Strong educational background or proven industry experience in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or Systems Engineering. • Production-Level Python Proficiency: Strictly required. Must be capable of independently writing clean, well-documented code, building sample repositories, and creating developer walkthroughs from day one.

Preferred Domain Expertise • Hands-on experience in AI model development, perception engineering, computer vision, sensor fusion, or robotic control systems. • A systems engineering mindset, comfortable working with hardware-software boundaries or middleware ecosystems such as ROS/ROS2 or custom simulation environments.

Additional Helpful Experience • A foundational interest or background in Cognitive Science or Computational Neuroscience, including neural networks, micro-circuits, or biologically inspired computing models. • Experience with or exposure to Rust for high-performance edge computing applications.

Ecosystem & Communication Foundations • A viewable portfolio of self-produced technical content, such as blogs, white papers, programming tutorials, videos, talks, documentation, or open-source contributions. • Exceptional communication, public speaking, and technical discovery consultation skills.

Trial Period Success Measures

During the initial trial phase, success will be evaluated primarily by the role’s ability to help drive convergence between premium platform growth and open-source ecosystem adoption. Practical success measures include: • Growth in qualified leads, trials, and paid customer conversion for Neurorobotics Studio. • Increased organic adoption of the open-source FEAGI framework, including developer usage, community engagement, GitHub activity, documentation usage, and inbound technical interest. • Creation of technical content, demos, examples, and walkthroughs that connect FEAGI adoption to Neurorobotics Studio customer growth. • Ability to clearly explain Neuraville’s technology and guide developers from exploration to practical implementation. • Contribution to customer discovery conversations, technical evaluation, and trial-user unblocking. • Clear feedback loops from developers and customers back into the product and engineering team.
