Responsibilities

We currently have a great opportunity available for a Developer/Analyst – IT Data Center. The Developer/Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing, implementing and managing SharePoint servers to support the business needs of Sysmex America. The Developer/Analyst will participate in projects and work with other IT and business associates to understand the needs of the business and to develop reports, applications, or processes to meet those business needs. This position will also serve as the SharePoint application “super user”, working with other Sysmex teams to design and develop configuration, functionality, data repositories, and reports as needed in SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint server environments. Examples of application involvement include, but are not limited to: Microsoft 365 suite, SharePoint, PowerApps, SQL Databases, Web applications, Insight, Dynamics 365, and Power BI.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with business users and other assigned associates to gather and document business requirements, analyze, design, develop, and implement SharePoint sites, pages, libraries, and workflow.
  • Build custom forms, applications, dashboards, and solutions using PowerApps, Power Automate, and SPFx.
  • Work closely with the appropriate IS/IT teams to ensure compliance with all Sysmex policies, procedures, and technical best practices.
  • Provide day-to-day support for issues that affect the daily operation of assigned applications and their interfaces; resolve such issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop or participate in projects to address deficiencies in current processes and create functionality to improve the current processes.
  • Communicate work and project status as required.
  • Attend training as needed.
  • Actively participate in cross training to develop a better understanding of the business, industry, databases, and systems.
  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ISO documentation for all tasks directly related to this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Travel Percentage: Less than 5%

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or closely related field preferred. 5-8 years of experience desired.
  • Experience in developing and implementing major projects.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrates expertise in related field.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of analysts, business users, vendors and technical resources throughout the organization.
  • Microsoft 365 Administration (Teams, OneDrive & Exchange).
  • Microsoft SharePoint Online and SharePoint server administration.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 with custom solutions, Dynamics Administration.
  • PowerShell and JSON scripting.
  • Design and Develop Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Database skills (e.g., SQL server, SQL queries, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), data modeling on logical and physical levels, knowledge of ERD software like Visio)
  • Understanding of application design and architecture, REST API’s, JSON and XML data structures.
  • Documentation: Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Visio.
  • SQL administration/support.
  • Reporting in PowerBI, SQL Reporting Services or similar technologies.
  • Solid work ethics and ability to use experience, judgment, and skills to work effectively as both a member of a team and independently.
