About

To support our client - the premium car manufacturer BMW (Bayerische Motoren Werke) - we are looking for a Development Android Application Platform (m/f/d) for BMW Group Munich on a temporary basis .

YOUR JOB PROFILE

• You are responsible for the technical conformity of the Android platform and ensure cross-generational use and Google certification.
• You will review the changing test cases within the different Android versions and test suites.
• You are responsible for setting up a functioning test environment and for the daily execution of the Google Compatibility test suite.
• Together with the compatibility team, you will review the changing test cases and adapt the test environment accordingly.
• You will lead and consolidate the different technical requirements and implement them for a stable test execution
• You will analyse the results of the test execution and coordinate with the compatibility team on the relevant activities to ensure 100% execution and 100% compatibility.

YOUR QUALIFICATION PROFILE

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in software engineering, ideally proven experience in software development (preferably in consumer electronics and in the field of infotainment in vehicles).
• Experience in testing, test automation and analysis.
• Preferably experience with the Android Open-Source Project (AOSP) or the Google Compatibility Programme
• Very good German and good English skills required
