About the role
Your role in the team
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary, agile project teams from product conception to series production.
- Independent development and implementation of software concepts for medical electrical devices, taking into account applicable standards and guidelines (such as 62304).
- Technical responsibility for the entire development process within the scope of project work, including deriving requirements and supporting verification/validation, creating technical documents, collaborating on risk analyses and FMEA.
- Creation and execution of unit, integration, and system tests, utilization and maintenance of automated test frameworks.

Our expectations:
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of common programming languages such as C, C++ for the Linux system platform and modern software development methods.
- Proficient in Git, as well as common development workflows and methodologies.
- Understanding of clean software architecture and code quality.
- Basic knowledge in the implementation of microcontroller-based hardware is desirable.
- Analytical thinking, structured working style, and sense of responsibility, high initiative, and team spirit.
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
Experience
- Several years of experience in agile software development, ideally in medical devices.
Education
- Successfully completed studies in computer science, medical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
