About the role
Your role in the team
- Development of hardware for embedded control units in the automotive sector (e.g., charging inlets, EVCC, power distribution units)
- Design and layout of printed circuit boards (including thick film and thick copper PCBs) for high-current applications
- Ensuring compliance with relevant norms and standards (ISO 16750, LV124, LV148, ISO 26262)
- Conducting hardware tests and supporting validations
- Requirements management and documentation in Polarion as well as Siemens Teamcenter
- Collaboration with software development and HiL verification department
- Contribute to defect analysis and documentation in Polarion
- Communication with clients and suppliers to coordinate technical requirements
- Creation of bill of materials
- Design of PCBs including heavy copper technology for high-current applications
- Design and integration of circuit breakers and fuses
- Use of CAD tools (Fusion 360, Altium Designer or comparable)

Qualifications
- Knowledge of high-current PCB design (thick copper, thick film)
- Knowledge of EMI, ISO 16750, LV124, LV148
- Good language skills in German and English
- Analytical thinking, structured working style
- Sense of responsibility, confident demeanor, good team and communication skills, as well as resilience and assertiveness.
- Thirst for knowledge, pioneering spirit, creativity
Experience
- Several years of experience in hardware development for embedded systems
- Experience with CAD tools (Fusion 360, Altium Designer)
- Experience with Polarion and Siemens Teamcenter
- Experience with automotive high-voltage components: contactors, fuses, insulation monitoring, interlock monitoring
Education
- Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field
